Book Fair Help Needed

Hello Ordway parents! The Spring Book Fair is upon us. It runs Tuesday through Friday of next week, and I am still in need of volunteers to fill in some empty spots. It is an easy and fun way to volunteer. Please contact Lisa Kopecky (780-1527) if you can help.

  • Tuesday, 4/15: 10:30am-12pm one person
  • Wednesday, 4/16: 10:30am-12pm one person, 1:45-3pm one person
  • Thursday, 4/17: 3-5pm two people, 5-7pm two people
  • Friday, 4/18: 10:30am-12pm one person, 1:45-3pm one person

Thank you so much. Your generous help is always appreciated!

Please Verify Information on Family Access

Because it is imperative that parents complete, update, verify, and correct information within Family Access, especially regarding email addresses, we ask each parent to log onto your Family Access account and make certain all current information is correct. Whenever you change any of your personal information (phone numbers, email addresses, etc.), we ask that you update the information in your Family Access account as soon as possible.

You can log onto Family Access from the front page of the district website; click on either Family Access under the Quicklinks menu at the left, or under the Parents tab in the top menu bar, and then Family Access from there.

This is a result of the district honoring the Family Educational Rights & Privacy Act (FERPA) requirements.

Thanks for your ongoing support of this important and useful data base.

Ordway Carnival

Mark your calendars! The Ordway Carnival will be held on Friday, May 2nd this year. That's just a little less than a month away! The old favorites will be there along with some new features which will make this a fun event for the whole family.

The Ordway Carnival simply could not happen without help from all of you. One hour of your time is all we need! You can spend that hour helping to staff the game rooms and tables so all our kids can have a great time. The Carnival Committee has seen how Ordway parents pull together in the past and we know we can, once again, count on your support.

If an hour of time is impossible, there are other opportunities to show your support. How about cooking some items for our bake sale? Or what about a cake for everyone's favorite, the Cake Walk! Making and pre-wrapping brownies, cookies and cakes and other baked items for the carnival is another great way to help out and be a part this wonderful event.
