Ordway PTO Dinner and Auction - Our biggest fundraiser this year will be our annual off-site, adult only, dinner and auction on Saturday, February 9, 2008. We are very excited about this event!
Other Great Fundraisers
Jog-a-thon - On Friday, October 19, participating students will jog on Ordway's playground for 20 minutes. Prior to this event donations will be accepted as a show of support for the students. An introductory assembly will be held in October. Visit the Jog-a-thon donation site to securely donate online.
McTakeOver - Our annual McDonald's McTakeOver is scheduled for Wednesday, October 10, 2007, from 6:00 to 8:00 PM. Join us for dinner or dessert and see your teachers in action! Ordway earns 40% of the sales made during this two hour time frame. In past years we have earned over $1000 from this event.
Ordway Carnival - Our Ordway Carnival is a fun-filled evening for our entire Ordway community! This annual event is scheduled for Friday, May 2, 2008, at Ordway. Children enjoy playing games, earning prizes, and jumping on bounce houses. Cake walks, bake sales and dinner are also part of the festivities! Our raffle baskets are always a huge hit.
Fall and Spring Book Fairs - Our fall book fair will begin on November 27, 2007, and end on November 30, 2007. The spring book fair is set to begin on March 25, 2008, and end on March 28, 2008. Scholastic Book Fairs benefit our school library by allowing us to purchase a variety of materials to enhance our library collection.
Otterwear Sales - At various times throughout the school year Ordway clothing such as sweatshirts and t-shirts are sold through an order form process.
Other Opportunities - In addition Ordway also earns money from our telephone directory ads and sales, school supplies sale, school pictures, and our school yearbook.
We are currently working with Dr. Robert Lewis and our teachers to determine our fundraising goals for 2007-2008! Your support of our fundraising efforts help us meet the needs of our school. We thank you for your continued support!
